SEVA - COMPASSION - COMMUNITY

Standing alongside people in need

Rooted in Sikh spirit of selfless service, The Sandher Foundation provides food, shelter, healthcare, education and livelihoods to families facing hardship in the United Kingdom and India.

About us

Quiet giving, made lasting

For many years, the Sandher Family have supported families in need - sending monthly food parcels to their home village in Punjab, funding medical treatment, rebuilding homes after floods, helping people start a livelihood, and supporting their local Gurdwara here in Manchester.

The Sandher Foundation formalises that commitment into a

lasting charity, guided by the Sikh values of sewa (selfless service) and sarbat da bhala - the wellbeing of all. Our aim is simple: to stand alongside people in their hardship so that no one goes without their most basic needs, and to help them build a better life with dignity.
